The squirrel came to the woman’s house and helped her survive the loss of her pet
Those who have pets know that they literally immediately become sweet members of the family. And it’s a tragedy when they leave us.
Michelle Bourleson has recently experienced a tragic loss. Her beloved dog was very sick, and since he was also old it was simply not possible to find a proper treatment for him, so he had to be put down.
One day, when she came home after work, she heard a light knock on the window and noticed a little squirrel.
The animal was very thin and shabby hair. Michelle offered some nuts and the squirrel gladly took them. The next day he came again.
Gradually they established a trustworthy contact and the squirrel was showing up twice a day.
Michelle gave a name to the squirrel — Stymie. And with the advent of a new friend, sadness and slowly faded. Michelle was posting this fun story on her Instagram
Stymie was no longer afraid of Michelle and was eating the nuts right from her hands. After some time she even went into the house and felt it was good. She slept on the couch, and later fell asleep on Michelle’s lap. He has indeed helped Michelle to survive the pain of a loss.
Michelle opened her own business soon and had to move a few months after, but Stymie continued his visits to the new dwellers. And they were very happy to meet and care for their wild pet.
