Every morning this young deer comes to the pasture to see the horse he thinks is his mother
On a farm in Harlow, Essex, the horses are taken out to pasture near the woods every day.
And every day, an orphaned deer comes out of the forest. He plays with the same horse and foal and clearly considers them his family.
The horse and her foal are very warm towards the fawn and, apparently, also accept him into their society.
In addition to this pair, another horse is very attached to the deer.
These touching photographs of the friendship between a deer and a horse were taken by Chinara Dzhumanalieva, who has been visiting the pasture for several days in a row. According to her, the horse hugged the deer, took care of him and even combed him like his foal.
“I don’t know what happened to his biological mother, but he hasn’t been seen alone for a long time, and the horses became his new family, adopted him,” the photographer said.
According to the woman, the deer comes from the forest every morning and stays in the pasture with the horses until the evening. The foal and fawn seem to be the same age, so they like to play with each other.
“Once, while I was watching them, someone was walking in the field with a dog, and the barking of the dog frightened the deer. He jumped back onto the horse, and she covered him with her body, intending to protect him from danger.
“Their relationship is absolutely amazing. When I first saw them, I realized that I had never seen anything like it before. Anyone who sees these photos will understand what I mean.»
