Animal lovers trimmed the wool from a shaggy monster. And found a cute poodle dog underneath!
5-year-old poodle Jaret was transferred to the animal protection organization called Valley Animal Center, located in Fresno (California, USA). The past of the dog was unknown, but the appearance of the animal was shocking.
Devon Prendergast, public relations specialist for the center, says workers were shocked to see him. Indeed, among this pile of tangled wool, you can’t even guess there is a dog.
One eye was completely covered with hair, and the pads of the paws were overgrown and were hardly touching the ground.
The dog could hardly move, so he was immediately taken to the clinic. Due to the large amount of fur, he had to be sedated with medication. Almost a kilogram of dirty fur was sheared off the dog

After his rehab period is over, Jaret will be listed for adoption to find his forever loving home, who will luckily trim him as often as he would need that.
