Flight attendant Olivia Sievers adopted a homeless dog named Rubio, who fell in love with her
Olivia Sievers, a flight attendant living in Germany, is a very kind person who loves dogs. Her flight was often headed to Buenos Aires, where she had to stay in a hotel for two days.
One day, as Olivia was walking toward her hotel, she saw a stray dog in front of the hotel door. She turned her attention to this dog and gave him some food.
The dog seemed to fall in love with the kind woman and from that day on began to wait for her at the hotel entrance. Olivia named him Rubio. As soon as Rubio saw her he happily wagged his tail, lay down on one side and waited while Olivia stroked his belly.
After that incident Olivia tried not to meet the dog because he always followed her. Whenever Olivia left the house, Rubio would follow her or wait for her outside the hotel. He needed the attention he once got. Even animals need to be loved and to be loved.
Since Olivia understood that she could not avoid meeting the dog, she continued to feed him. When it was cold, she wrapped a blanket around him.
Once every three months, Olivia had to fly to BA. The hotel staff told her that all those months, the dog came to the hotel every day, hoping to meet her. Then he waited patiently for Olivia.
Olivia asked the local animal shelter to take Rubio in. They agreed, but nothing came of it: Rubio ran away from the shelter back to the hotel.
Olivia Sievers finally decided to adopt the dog and brought him to Germany, where Rubio had a wonderful new life. The happy dog quickly settled into his new life full of adventure and play.
He spent his time running around the yard with his beloved owner’s other dog. Sometimes they were taken to the local lake, where Rubio loved to watch the fish in the water.
In 2016, Olivia adopted Rubio, turning his life outside into a beautiful life where he lives very happily, enjoying the sunshine, the backyard and the sweet home. So an encounter, a kind look forever tied two good hearts together.
