These marvellous pink dolphins are under the danger of the forever extinction

The miraculous pink dolphins in Hong Kong, who were observed around there about 400 years ago, now are under the danger of extinction.

These incredible type of animals has been the symbol of Hong Kong. But it is at risk of disappearnace. The third runway at Chek Lap Kok Airport is the main reason that endangers the removal of these astonishing creatures from the waters near the shore.

Similar to the Amazon river pink dolphins these wonderful animals have also such beautiful coloring due to the blood vessels brought to the surface by the area’s warm tropical waters which reddens the white skin of the sweet animals.

Since 2003 the number of the colorful dolphins has declined vastly from 158 animals to 60 now. The pollution, boat traffics and overfishing have affected on the reduction of this amazing species. And the new runway will be the final blow.

As the World Wildlife Fund states that these exquisite creatures have lost about 5000 acres of their natural habitat over the 20 years. And it is assumed that the construction of the runway will have a strong influence on the other 4000 acres. The poor animals don’t know that a great disaster will be awaited for them. So we must gather and take serious actions to save the astonishing creatures.
