Furniture store always ensure neighborhood dogs have cozy place to sleep

For around 6 years, Dr. Jem Baikal has walked past the same furniture store every day on his way to work. And each time it’s imopssible not to notice a couple of homeless dogs at the entrance.

These 2 puppies are friends and are always together.

A store called Istikbal Mobile sells home goods such as linens, curtains and mattresses. The owner of the store cares about the homeless animals that live in the area and decided to do something to make their lives a bit better.

He places a bed in front of the store, and those 2 homeless dogs sleep there every time. Thanks to this kind man, the homeless dogs don’t have to seek solace on cold sidewalks.

«This street is known as an affluent neighborhood, and everybody takes care of the local dogs and cats, but nobody usually supplies them with bedding,» Baikal said. «This store does.»

Baikal not long ago stopped by the store to check on the homeless animals and found that they were doing well, in spite of the inclement weather.

«We had very heavy rain this morning, and I greeted my friends on my way to the hospital early this morning,» Baikal said. «The store was closed, but the bedding was there. The lazy one was still asleep, but his friend was awake and walked me to the crosswalk for my safety.»

Looks like the pups want to return the favor.
