The Indian huge Squirrel (Malabar) is too beautiful to be real

Once squirrel expert John Koprowski encountered a Malagar for the first time, he was astonished.

The animal was so gigantic that at first he supposed it was an ape.

But it wasn’t just the size that stunned him. Malabars have very extraordinary colors. Their fur can come in a variety of colors, such as brown, purple, burgundy, black and orange.

Burgundy and purple are not specific to mammals, so these squirrels are special, too.

These lovely animals hardly walk on the ground; they enjoy the forest canopy in the branches of trees.

Fortunately, these creatures are not endangered, but they should be protected to keep them from going extinct.

Chances to see these squirrels are not great. In order to see them, you must travel to eastern or southern India. Moreover, if you are in eastern or southern India, you must go right deep into the woods to find them.
