Faithful dog refuses to leave mom’s side after saving her life

Dogs are the most faithful animals on earth.

Their absolute devotion was confirmed once again by a picture that lately went viral; a service dog refusing to leave his mother’s hospital room.

This unique bond began when Shauna Darcy decided a dog could assist her in her endless struggle with anxiety, and it turned out she was not at all wrong.

Love at first sight happened to Ruby, and this sweet puppy proved to be more than just a dog.

In fact, when Shawna got Ruby, she found a true friend!

She’s always by her mom’s side, every moment, her everyday routine includes monitoring Shawna’s blood pressure and haert rate, especially since she also suffers from Ehlers-Danlos vascular syndrome.

This dog helps her owner during panic attacks, carrying groceries or picking up fallen things.

«When I lose consciousness, she sits on top of me, snuggles up to me and licks my hands and face until I come to my senses.»

About a week ago, Ruby started signaling to her mother that something was wrong, but Darcy was feeling fine and didn’t know why Ruby was acting that way.

Nevertheless, completely trusting Ruby, she decided to call an ambulance.

It turned out that her heart was going into atrial fibrillation. By the time the paramedics arrived, she was in pain and almost unconscious.

Thanks to her faithful dog, Shawna can breathe again.
