Labrador evacuated from Ukraine finds new life in the US as a police officer

The ongoing war in Ukraine has claimed the lives of millions of people, including animals. Many animals have been isolated from their homes and locked up in dangerous places as many people try to get them to safety.
Fortunately, the dog evacuated from Ukraine has a new chance to survive as a police officer in America.
A one-and-a-half-year-old Labrador has arrived in Florida to escape war-torn Ukraine.

His family fled Ukraine when the Russian invasion took place.

But after being kicked out of his house because of the war, the dog soon got to his feet and found a new goal. The manager realized that the dog had excellent police readiness and applied to the police department to recruit a new one.
«This dog has a certain drive to work, let’s see if we can get him to work,» said the detective.
The dog is currently training to be a drug detection dog for the police station.
It’s hard work, but the dog has shown great enthusiasm for his new job.
