Touching moment: Elephant recognizes veterinarian who cared for him 12 years ago

In an extremely touching scene, the wild elephant seems to recognize the man who saved his life over a decade ago.
Dr. Maneon had a touching but unexpected reunion with an elephant he treated years ago. the elephant was seriously ill. When a group of volunteers found him in the wilderness of Rayong, his chances of survival were extremely slim. Suffering from a variety of ailments such as trypanosomiasis, anemia, or numbness in the legs, the poor man struggled to eat or drink water, let alone stand on his feet.

The elephant was immediately transported, where Dr. Maneon treated and cared for him until he miraculously recovered a few months later. He was then released back into the wild, in the same area where the rescue team had originally found him.

Earlier this month, a veterinarian was inspecting the area when he spotted an old friend of his. However, there was no certainty that the elephant would recognize him after so many years.
