One-eyed shelter cat finds his forever home

Every single pet deserves a caring family, even though they a bit different. Animals with disabilities usually have a hard time getting adopted.

But thankfully, one beautiful cat who has just one eye has found a perfect forever home.

On February 23, the Fairfield Area Humane Society, in Lancaster, Ohio, shared a post about one of their cats who was looking for a forever home: a 2-year-old shelter cat named Eggbert.

He had a striking appearance. He was missing one eye and one nostril.

But nothing can slow him down and he looks very happy and gets along with other dogs, kids and cats.

However his disabilities complicated finding him at home. His previous hamily spotted him had »occasional seizures». So Eggbert will need medical treatment in the future which makes it difficult for him to get adopted.

Eggbert’s story went viral. It was shared over 100 times.

In spite of all the odds against him, Eggbert has finally found a home. We believe his new family will do his best to give Eggbert the love he deserves
