4 young boys save starving, abandoned dog

4 young boys in the 7 Mile area of Detroit went over and above to rescue a dog in need of help.

Brothers Kenny, Kenneth, and Kevin Dancy, along with their friend Andrew Daniels, came across a scene that would have horrified everybody.

They found an abandoned dog tied to the back of a house with bungee cords. Weakened and trembling from revelation, the pup was in a really bad way.

The boys knew they had to act promptly. They enclosed the dog in a winter coat to keep her warm, before setting the dog free and taking her home in order to feed. She got the name Sparkle.

Fortunately, they came across members of the Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue while walking Sparkle out.

The men learned the entire story. They guessed she was suffreing from mange and decided to take her in for veterinary care.

After testing her, they came to a conclusion that she didn’t have the mange. So Sparkle could already be adopted. Pet Tales Rescue, a sister organization, supervised the process, placing Sparkle with a foster mom who would give her all the love and affection she needed.

The 4 boys received public praise for their deed. They also saved 2 more dogs. Again via Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue, they got the dogs from the streets to the vet for treatment.
