The swan hugs the man who saved her by wrapping her neck around him
They are known for being territorial and aggressive, which can be quite intimidating.
That’s why this moment is so beautiful when the host of the hit TV show Born to Explore hugs an injured swan.
Richard was in the UK when he stumbled upon a swan that had injured itself after flying into a mesh fence.
He helped by holding the swan while it was being looked at to console her.
“When I put him next to me, I could feel his heart beating and he just relaxed his neck and wrapped himself around my neck,” he said. “This is a beautiful moment when the animal completely trusts you.”
The swan did not recoil or attack in fear when Richard took him in his arms. Instead, the swan knew he was safe and felt comfortable enough to give Richard an unforgettable hug.
