The poor boy saved his dog’s life by taking her to a shelter
A 13 years old boy was living in one of the poorest communities in Cape Town. He noticed that his dog was not eating and had a bloody diarrhea. He wanted to help her but didn’t know how. So decied to walk 2 miles and reach the animal rescue center where he could find help.
He told the vets that he had no money to keep his sweet pet and nurse her. But he wanted to see her alive. So the staff asured him that they would do their best to save his friend and care for her.
It became clear that the miserable pup Nanuk was suffering from parvovirus and wouldn’t survive without proper treatment. So the team took the needed action. And while the nice dog was getting curement, she was visited by different shelter cats to support her.
Now as Nanuk became better the shelter workers are searching for a loving family to take her. Thanks to the kind boy who rescued Nanuk’s life, she is healthy and fine and is looking for a forever home.
