A stray dog chases after a vacationing couple’s car, who stops by to give him a new home
It happens that pets enter our lives at the most unexpected moments. This was the case with a couple who found a dog on vacation and the baby wanted to make them his new family.
Martina and her partner were driving through Spanish villages when they noticed that a local was behind them.
It was a little puppy who seemed to want to get along with them. «We thought it was just a game,» but «we soon realized something was wrong because he was running fast and not stopping.»

Convinced that the dog needed help, they stopped the car to give him some water, and the kitten was soon tied up.
They took him to a nearby village to ask if anyone had lost him, but no one had ever seen him.
«On the way back we took him back to where we found him, thinking he might know where to go, but he followed us again until we reached the van.»

The dog simply continued to chase after their car, and the couple realized that the dog might have been abandoned in the village.
«The next day we took him to the vet, and it turned out that he was not chipped, not sterilized, female, about a year old, very overgrown with fur, full of drums around the eyes,» said the woman.
They continued to search for the dog’s owner, but no one appeared after walking around the area and posting on social media.

A few weeks later, they concluded that the dog had no family and decided to adopt him.
The dog, now called Moxie, is now a beloved member of the family.
