High school cross-country team had a nice idea to take the shelter dogs to their morning run
The cross-country team at St. Joseph High School had an incredible idea to invite the shelter dogs to their morning run. And the staff of Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter were delighted to this suggestion and let their animals to participate such a good and healthy activity. It would be so useful for the dogs to get some sun and stretch the legs.
The coach of the team Luis Escobar stated that both the dogs and tha students were excited and happy to run together. Their funny and sweet video was spread on Faceboom and seen by different coaches and runners from many other schools. It gained thousand views and likes.
The run was really an important success. The kids already had the second one after their first attempt. It was truely wonderful. This also makes the dogs be sociable and get adapted to the surroundings and especially the people. The idea was amazing. Tbe pupils get aquainted with the dogs’ needs and personalities. They really love ad care about the sweet animals.
