Man adopts neighbor’s dog from the shelter after learning he was abandoned
The man’s dog liked to play with another dog called Doax. Every day, Dog, who was on the run, waited for Derek to get back from work to play with Dexter. But one-day Doax didn’t show up. It turns out he was taken in by Animal Control and when his family was contacted to pick him up, they decided to leave him at an animal shelter.
Derek did not like it. The man posted a video that was widely spread.
In the touching video, the man walks until he stops in front of one of the cages. «When I finally found out that my neighbors had left their dog,» he wrote. «After 3 apartments and 4 phone calls. I found Haran’s dog and adopted him. «We gave him the life he deserves,» he captioned the video.

Then he explained why he decided to take the dog.
The dog waited for us every day to play with Dexter. One day he did not show up because animal control took him away. It turns out that he had a family, and they had the opportunity to pay for his return but chose not to.

The man said that getting Doax home was the best decision he had ever made, adding that Dexter and Doax would now play forever.
He also discovered that Dexter was in the same situation as Doax. He was abandoned by his former owners, and Derek rescued him from the shelter.
In another recent video of two dogs playing together in the backyard, Derek admits he «found gold» with his two furry kids and is so thankful to have them in his life. We think Doax and Dex relate to him too!
