Despite a broken leg, mama dog carried all 13 puppies to the safest hiding place

A roving St. Louis rescue service came across a dog with an injured leg. Of course, they planned to save, but they did not know that they were going to save much more, writes I love my dog so much.
Shortly after rescuing the dog, they noticed that she had milk. It was then that they learned that this dog was a new mother and puppies were born somewhere nearby. Rescuers knew they needed to be found and act quickly.

They went straight into the undergrowth where the mother dog lived to see where her puppies were. Rescuers pushed aside branches and crawled through the bushes until they finally found a small lair.

Inside the lair, a hole in the ground that looked like a «shelter», there were not just a few puppies, but 13 Their mom did a great job keeping them safe and warm.

Rescuers carefully placed the puppies into the container one by one before bringing them and their mother back to the rescue. There they were able to provide the mother and puppies with the necessary medical care.

The mom is going to have surgery on her injured leg and all the puppies will be neutered and neutered and eventually given up for adoption once they are old enough.
