Luck is important in any profession, and photographers are definitely nowhere without it. After all, being in the right place at the right time is 50% of success! The Indian Sumen Bajpai can boast of such luck, who was fortunate to catch a rare melanistic tiger in the frame. There are very few such animals, and he went out to the photographer for only a few seconds, but Sumen did not miss the opportunity to take pictures.

Photographer Sumen Bajpai came to a nature reserve in the Indian state of Odisha, where he wanted to shoot monkeys and tigers. And then a rare tiger with a mutation got into his frame, thanks to which the usual stripes of the beast turn out to be much darker and larger than those of typical representatives of the species.

According to Sumen, the beast came out of the forest for only a few seconds, but this time was enough for the pictures.

Before that, Sumen saw tigers both in the wild and in zoos. But they were ordinary animals, and now he got a melanistic tiger. The world knows about 6-7 such tigers, according to The Sun. At the same time, in the reserve, where Sumen managed to photograph this animal, only 1-2 such tigers live, which before that only fell into the lens of camera traps.

The photographer was delighted with such a meeting with a rare tiger. And we sure you were as well!
