Caracal is unique species of the cat family. It was considered as type of lynxs for a long time. But then it was separated to a different genus. This incredible type of cat was a sacred creature in Ancient Egypt. It was depicted on walls, sculptures and figures as a guard of the tombs of pharaohs.

Caracas are found mostly in deserts, savannas of Africa and Central Asia. Though these mammals are predacious by appearance they can be easely tamed. They can’t be harmful for humans when grown among them. But in some coutries it is forbidden by law to keep them as pets.
