He found himself in a shelter because of the cruelty of a man who starved himself and then simply threw him out into the street. But despite everything, Rey did not lose confidence in people, he struggled to reach any visitor because he needed touch, care, and warmth. In the end, always in response, people reached out to him and caressed him.

And fate rewarded Rey for his endurance: a man named Jerome passed by the dog shelter, and the dog, as usual, stretched its paw towards him, looking into the man’s eyes with his bottomless eyes. Jerome realized that he could not go home without Ray.
