He decided to spend that long time so that he did not let go of the evacuation transport with his cat.
At the time of the evacuations from Irpen, some of the residents did not leave, because the bus and the bushes were not considered for that place. The man answered all the questions and left his animals and decided to go to a family in Zhytomyr. He was on foot day and night, unaware of the shootings, and all the way home.

“The cows came from Irpin, the Russians did it all. The poor animals have nowhere to go, said the people of Kyiv, who were stunned to see cows on the streets in Kyiv, in the video.
“If I left them, I would become a villain. How would I look people in the eye,” says 44-year-old Andrey Mikhailov, who went through the entire rescue route with animals?

Andrei says that what he did rub his lungs, he did not forgive himself. The son-in-law was shot in the head and placed with the corpse of Marte and his son Troiko in his hometown of Irpen, and then killed with them in the local hospital. When the evacuation took place, he decided to flee with his animals to the Zhytomyr region.
He mentions: “The first night I went on foot to Kyiv, then to Belogorodka, then to Ignatievka, then to Byshev and Korostyshev.”
In a week they passed 15 villages. Meanwhile, the volunteers scolded the man with the video with Troika and Manya. They discover To warn people that while in the Russian-populated Zhytomyr it is deadly; 2,000 people were displaced but to no avail. The people standing at the checkpoint did not see this and read Andrei the saboteur.

“In Bishev, when they stopped, the Armed Forces of Ukraine pointed their rifles at their knees and almost got shot. They asked what was in my bag. I showed everything and they realized that I was a refugee. They asked if I had water. I said no and they gave me chocolates and something else,” says Andrei.
Our hero says that the villagers helped him in every way they could. Room and board were provided, but Andrei decided to spend the night in hiding. “They gave me food, asked what I needed, and I stocked up with everything I needed. They also watered the cattle,” the cow rescuer said.

So Andrey, Manya and Troika covered more than 100 km. The truck drove them to their grandfather for the last 15 kilometers. Aunt Tatyana, whom he had not seen for almost 1.5 years, was waiting for them at home.
“I was very worried because we had a difficult relationship and misunderstandings happened …,” says Andrey.
Aunt Tatyana adds: “As soon as I saw Andryusha walking with the cows, I immediately threw myself on his neck, hugged him, kissed him warmly, clung to him, and said that he was doing well.”
Troika, according to the owner, should rejoice most of all at the rescue, because he is now the only bull in two villages.
But Andrei is also very welcome in the village. They followed his searches on the Internet and were very worried. But Andrei himself is not surprised by this act. “It’s simple, my job, my responsibility,” he says.
