Staff at Alberta Animal Rescue in Canada recently rescued a fat Golden Retriever named Kai. He weighed 173 pounds. The caregiver mother, Pam, thought that the former owners of the dogs loved him very much, but she did not realize that they were feeding too much, and the dog did not have a physically active life.
When Pam first saw Kai, she thought she had to do something to help the poor dog. He would not give up on her in any way. Because he was unhealthily obese and suffering, The dog was so happy that Pam decided to adopt him.
When Kai arrived at his new home in Canada, it took him 30 minutes to climb the stairs. After entering, he was lying motionless, and if he wished, he could not move and be part of any event.
Kai was supposed to weigh about 75 pounds medically, but after measuring it, it turned out to be 173, which was a serious problem, but Pam believed she could help the dog.
