The sweet homeless dog finally found his forever home

The volunteers of «Howl of a Dog» animal shelter organized a dog spay-neuter campaign in a rural area in Romania. There they encountered a sweet friendly dog Remi. The wonderful stary dog was greeting the team every morning smiling and wagging his tail. He was so nice and gentle. Everyone loved and admired him.

Remi was burnt on his nose with hot iron remaining a mark on it. It was believed in the villages that this way improved the animals’ immune system. But this was only a myth without any proof. However the spot on the dog’s face showed that he had had an owner but he was abandoned soon.

Remi was neutered during this time and was put a collar to be protected. The volunteers tried to find a home for him in the village but it was in vain. So they took the adorable creature with them to the shelter. There he was saved, well fed and nurtured.

And soon Remi was adopted by a caring family. He finally found his forever home where he was filled with warmth and joy.
