The baby lion has always slept with his blanket even when he is already grown
Generally the wild animals should live in forest freely and not captured in pounds. But there are cases when they must appear in enclosures helplessly without their untamed companions. But fortunate are the ones which are taken by warm-hearted volunteers and looked after with love.
Such a generous person is Vicky Keahey – founder of the In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue and Educational Center. She has helped numerous sorrowful wild beasts with her dedicated team.
Once they discovered a poor and helpless baby lion which was in an awful state. As he was starving, he looked like a little puppy than a lion. He was illegally bought by a heartless person who had decided to keep him as a pet, but then threw him realizing that he couldn’t take care of him.
When appearing in rescue center the lion was bewildered and afraid. But some time later he felt comfortable and protected there. He had used to sleep with a blanket before, so Vicky decided to put a blanket in his enclosure. He wrapped in it and went to sleep cozily. Since then the little cub didn’t sleep without it.
Due to the rescue staff the tiny cub completely recovered. Now he is a real big lion but he remains sleeping with the blanket. He adores it and becomes satisfied curling in it before going to sleep.
