“We are responsible for those we have tamed”- a simple truth that, unfortunately, many people cannot understand, ceasing to take care of their animals when they are sick. Jesse DeFreitas, assistant veterinarian in Crowley, West Sussex (UK), was shocked when a puppy was brought to them in an extremely neglected state. The little tailed girl had creepy scabies, a disease caused by ticks that left the dog almost completely hairless.

Baby looked bad but Jesse just fell in love with her eyes and wanted to keep her for herself. She was named Terra. It should be noted that Jesse’s love was not mutual: at first the baby was angry and bitten.
A few months of care acted wonders
Firstly, Terra recovered and turned into a real beauty, and secondly, the anger left her character, now she is a kind, sweet and playful puppy. And with age it will be even better. How good it is when dogs find loving owners!
