Labrador Molly is saving our planet by collecting garbage

Nowadays, the problem of pollution has become so acute, that not only people but also animals have taken up cleaning.

This adorable Labrador is Molly. She is from Scarborough, UK, and she has a mission — make the world tidier. She began with a local beach in 2017.

It all started when her owner, Fliss Carter, noticed that her puppy would find and play with plastic bottles. However, instead of being angry, Fliss taught the dog to collect litter. Since then, both of them have been walking along the beach, enjoying themselves and helping the planet at the same time.

Molly loves collecting stuff so much, she does not even ask for treats; simple praise from Fliss makes the dog`s eyes beam with happiness.

Fliss taught her pet not to touch dangerous objects like needles and other sharp things.

Occasionally, Molly steals bottles from other people, because she does not distinguish empty from full ones, but the victims are very understanding and do not get angry at all.

Now Molly and Fliss do not leave the house without buckets and bags. The cleaning duo became local celebrities.

Fliss hopes that other people will pay attention to the caring dog and rethink their attitude to nature. We wish more creatures to follow Molly`s example and help make this world a little cleaner.
