Animals with disabilities are now much more cheerful because of Lincoln Parkes, a 92-years-old retired vet, who spends his days making strollers for diasbled dogs.

He was a vet for many years, and he dedicated more than 60 years of his life in building strollers for these helpless animals.

After retiring he located the workshop not far from his home and worked in a wheelchair there.

Dr. Parkes found a man whose dog was injured by a car crash. The dog was able to do nothing with his hind legs. Parkes made a K-9 stroller, so the dog got a chance to live much happier.

In the 1960s he founded a shop for a stroller like this, which he made himself. It was not his main job at first. But now he spends his days making carts for special animals.

He enjoys giving a new chance to these little lovely creatures. For years sales of Parkes carts have been considerably low, just a few hundred in a year.

But he doesn’t give up. Even today, he is working on his aim, to build a more comfortable and more functional stroller, and he hopes for a good sale.

Parkes does everything carefully, so every single cart is adapted to the intended dog. This kind man is very inspiring.
